I went for blue dial steel. Will post pics upon arrival. If it exceeds my expectations on the wrist, I’ll add the rose gold too.

Having met many of the key players, both public figures and behind the scenes, I can say that these folks really care about the watches and the client experience. They never were out to capture the market or please the shareholders….that’s what the rest of the overarching catalogue was for. Watches were a passion of BLV and now JA. It’s just that Jean has a bit more to prove, business-wise, in his family and thus the impetus to morph from a solely business perspective.

I am very glad to see the “standard” watches are being cut. The paradigm shift was needed. The folks at LFT are top notch and trained under some of the best folks in the industry…they operate with a “niche microbrand” mentality but have the resources of LVMH at their disposal.

I hate-watched the video Hodinkee (part owned by LVMH) did interviewing Jean Arnault. By the end, though, I harboured a huge amount of respect for him. Yes he may be the boss’s son, but he has great knowledge, curiosity, passion, and humility. Judging by this out-of-nowhere sensation, apparently he has great ability too.

I have no doubt he’s aiming LV for the top of the horological tree, and on current showing, I’d not bet against him getting them there.

Very interesting, and love the LV hard-sided box that comes with it. Only suggestion, include a leather and/or rubber strap with timepiece case attachment bits like Czapek does for easy strap / bracelet change. At that price level for that level of finishing it is getting 'mandatory' imho.

PS: The bracelet should also have some type of micro-adjustment for sizing when your wrist swells / contacts.

Thanks for the insight. It’s clear that Jean A has a lot of passion.

Good looking watch and movement. But $20k is very steep.

Quite funny but I could not care less about any strap options as long as there is a nice bracelet and I have never missed any micro adjustment either. Maybe my skinny wrist doesn't swell much.

Mine swells as i live in a very warm / humid climate. I really like what looks like the two-screw bracelet connection. LV could easily add a variety of bands as accessories, maybe even interesting alternatives to wrist-wear (attach to purse strap or worn as a necklace for example). The advantage of LV is they can think 'outside the box/wrist'... and explore.

Nice. Did your CA mention about when delivery would be?

I'm also thinking of ordering the blue dial.
The more I look at pics and videos, the more it's growing on me.

I’ve been told they will begin in September.
If you have any issues ordering, happy to get you in touch with the watch folks to place one.

Thank you, Appreciate the offer.
Fortunately, lucky to have a watch specialist at my boutique. He's more knowledgeable then your average AD sales and have enjoyed our talks about watches.

After trying on some high horology pieces, it got me intrigued into their special watches. I like the size of the new Tambour and the integrated bracelet look.

Excellent. You are in good hands. The Tambour curve is fantastic. A bit big on me when I tried it on but lovely.

Some more LV high watch pictures. I am beyond thrilled that the emphasis will be here going forward.

I can't get over the Louis Vuitton letters that drape the bezel. like....why?

20K is seemingly an appropriate price, and if they are making in the "hundreds" per year (per Tim Mosso's IG) then they'll almost surely sell that quantity due to those who are brand loyal and who have significant others already shopping in boutiques.

Very nice! Really shows when people leading the watch company have serious interest in horology.

Check out how lights reflect off the connectors between each link in the bracelet (7.20 in the video). This makes the bracelet looks modern and refined (there is chamfering at the edge of the bracelet as well). Jean Arnault also spoke about reducing the thickness from 13.2mm to 8.3mm. This watch doesn't have the typical loud monogram of LV products and it is understated on the wrist. I think this is a good daily watch.

I like this lugless integrated bracelet solution, and even the watch in general, but for that price, it's not for me. However, I can completely understand those who wear LV on a daily basis, if they would buy one for their wardrobe.

Very Nice, Those are also some interesting pieces.
I'm hearing possibly the next in series around March next year.

From Tim Mosso's IG, he says there was also a tantalum/steel demonstrator.

Not for me, especially it’s coming from LV and 20K msrp. I can already foresee its secondary market price at 6k a year later.

I’d rather get Moser streamliner or Czapek.

A bit late in the integrated bracelet game no? The PM pieces do nothing for me i honestly think these pieces don't add anything to the table.
