Rolex already had it right!

Yesterday I took a little trip to my local AD to change up my GMT II from the blue/red to the solid black. On the way, I could not help but think how Rolex already had the perfect watch, it does not get any better than the classic GMT's. I used to own a couple of GMT's, one pepsi and a coke, and I also had a spare black insert, I was set. Some how I have ended up with just my pepsi, and I even sold my solid black insert . I'm not really sure what happened, I do have a serious flipping problem. Anyway, the pepsi insert is tucked away and now I will have a hard time taking this one off my wrist. Seriously, this is a perfect watch, super comfortable on the wrist, ability to change the inserts, and it can take anything I throw at it. This GMT even spends hours a day in the pool without any worries, I used to think I had to wear my sub for that.

I ran outside today to take some pics., and I am really thinking that the solid black might be my very favorite GMT combo, what do you think?

No offence to the new breed of ceramic lovers, but Rolex took a big jump backwards when they let this baby die.
