Enjoy your new ride! I had the chance to drive the hardtop S5, and it's magnificent. I'm sure the convertible is even more fun!

Ok , I will but keep in mind the coupe has the V8 , the drop top has 'only' a V6 albeit with compressor.
Next year the coupe gets the same engine. I have driven the coupe too and so far I like the V6 equally , less rumble but lots of torque down under.

If you look closely you can see Nathan (my son) is holding a cap in his hands.
Think that should be fine, no ?

The intent of my original comment was not to dampen the excitement of your recent purchase. Trust me, I know the feeling. I'm sorry it came across that way. I owned an S6 Avant. A wonderful car from a technical perspective, as I know yours is. I hope you have much better experience with the build quality of your car than I did. That was ultimately the reason why I sold it. Very nice car! I may be in the market for a new car, looks like I'll have to make a trip to the Audi dealership.

Congrats on your new car and that 996 must have been really something special to have owned.
