I daileyed one just like it from 2004-2008, Classic is right. Looks like a fine example.

Indeed. A classic. Me like the steel bezel more than the ceramic :)

Thanks everybody for the well wishes. I’m truly enjoying this timepiece very much. To anyone considering picking one up, white or black dial, don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it. I was on the hunt for some time until I found this one.

So beautiful and classy. I love it when people here diss Daytonas. If you could see this watch on your wrist, you might then realize how classic, classy and timeless this watch is!

Well said. I’m biased of course but I completely agree. It seamlessly blends in with whatever you happen to wearing. Not over powering. Understated yet has presence. Almost difficult to explain.

Congrats! As someone in the market for a stainless Daytona, what made you choose the 116520 vs the 16520 or the 116500? I think all have pros/cons, so curious what made you choose the 116520.

super catch there. I wish I hadn;t sold my black dial 116520 11 yrs ago (kicking myself ever since). But I did keep the white dial 116520, and 116523 (white dial as well)

Have to agree, it was the Rolex I'd wanted for 20 years and in 2018 I finally pulled the trigger.

Here is my V-Serial 116520 Daytona, if there could be only one, for me, this would be it.

Was hunting for one for awhile too and just picked up my mint blue lume random serial black dial

After going through many of the ceramic versions, I'm really loving the pre-ceramic 6 digit 116520 which I find slightly more elegant and understated with the steel bezel for some reason

Congrats on yours, wear in good health!
