Christian is actually a nice guy and he himself will say he is not an expert in modern rolex. I enjoy their videos and like the fact that he wears what he loves and doesn't care what people think. A lot of followers in this youtube space it's nice to have a guy who's sipping a cocktail now and then and enjoying watches he personally loves.
I listened to this video and found it was just them discussing how they think it's possible but likely a rumor. They talked about several angles. I love how many here have rude comments about someone that they would not say to his face and probably didn't watch the video. PS you'd probably have a great conversation with him if you ever chatted. |

they have nothing to gain with this video and they're not holding the bag everyone claims they are. their entire shop is vintage stuff most on here wouldn't look twice at then again we're on a website where people make fun of Paul Thorpe's accent while somehow priding ourselves in being better than reddit |

His reviews seem to be a super mixed bag. I used to watch him on YouTube when I was starting to get into higher end watches, and I quickly fell out of favor about his content. |

For anyone online there will be mixed opinions. I am just saying I enjoy their channel and he is an interesting guy. I base this on actual personal interactions.

I was told by my AD a few months ago that Pepsi production “could potentially” slow down. I remember not giving it much credence at the time. But Rolex is Rolex, you never know what you’re gonna get.

A local AD manager told me about a month ago Rolex was having trouble with this model. I didn't care - it's been brought up to a point that makes it have some level of believability.

Don’t want YouTube watch people, but how is their message any different than what happens here on the forum? How many “my AD said” threads do we see every day? Because you can see their faces on camera, you feel the need to belittle? I honestly thought this forum was full of adults, perhaps I’m wrong. |

In there defense this topic of the the Pepsi being cut or fully cancelled is all over YouTube the past few weeks. It’s a theme, so i guess they just decided to kick around the likelihood of this happening. I think they conclude by doubting the rumors.

You make Youtube Ad revenue and sponsorship dollars off every video they can convince you to click on, and its been proven that simply putting "Rolex" in the video title exponentially increases a videos reach and engagement meaning you make more money off it

I actually like these guys, they are interesting to listen to, they are funny and I think they just share their opinion on various watches and watch related topics.
They do commercials for thrir sponsor and their shop / patreon… that is fair enough. But the videos seem genuine. 2 watch geeks (like us but) talking about watches. Regarding the Pepsi production numbers, there is a thread here where these theories are beeing debated :) Who knows… my AD just says they do not get many. |

Oh and another thing my AD told me last weekend, they get very few Pepsis in, but even less Sprites…

I haven't watched the video, but it's unfortunately true that Rolex is not happy with the production of the BLRO Bezel. For 6 years the colors have varied between more or less violet and pink - calls it MK I-IVff, but to date the colors are not clearly red and blue. The transitions are diffuse, completely different to the BLNR. According to Rolex quality standards, many of these BLRO bezels are unusable. Rolex is unhappy with the 126710 BLRO, I'm sure! And not because of demand, but because of their own, self-imposed quality criteria -the demand for perfection

4 or 5 years ago I watched a video by Watchfinder how Rolex were struggling with the bezel, since then plenty have been made ..
Search for the video how the bezel is actually made it’s much more interesting .. And in all honesty none of us know the truth, I think they’ll go 41 mm for the 70th Anniversary, but wtf do I know ?

Even if for some reason they are cutting Pepsi production, then production of other references will be increasing to keep them running at 100%. They aren’t going to leave one dime on the table. |

Spoke to my AD recently about getting a pepsi and was told they only received about a third of what they received last year.

Perhaps fanboys of theirs could kindly suggest to them to have more appropriate titles for their videos. PS: From TRF posts, it looks like a normal flow. GREAT news as my buddy in Canada just got his Pepsi Meoterite

I have been told by and AD (if you believe them or not) that Rolex is still having issues with the colours merging on the bezels. So that could be why there are less of the BLROs turning up in ADs?

Rolex is a black box; none of these YT'ers ever have hard evidence; pure speculation and click bait.

I think you mean "black hole" as in "Rolex is a black hole when it comes to production information. nothing escapes." But I get what you mean.
