Awesome!! My wife has a DJ31 with that same dial - it's really subdued initially, but so rich in color when the light hits it just right.

Great watch, congrats!

This is the same configuration (jubilee/smooth) I'm hoping to get for my 40th in a month or so, except mine will be the blue dial.

Happy birthday and congrats! Most people here know I'm a huge fan of domed/Jubilee - I have both black and silver versions identical to yours. I also turn 40 next quarter.

It’s a great classic Rolex. I’m actually considering the same watch to add to my collection. You don’t see many smooth bezels, on a jubilee. Congratulations, and a great birthday present to yourself.
