WG Sub is my vote. The glidelock is a big plus. However, I had rather have the WG Sub with no glidelock than the GMT with one. Good Luck!

Like the WG GMT more but with the blue or the black dial.

WG Sub for me, never bonded with the Meteorite dial GMT!

I’m a huge GMT guy, but I personally don’t care for meteorite dials. My vote would be WG GMT with blue dial. Otherwise, the sub.

I prefer the blue dial version of the GMT Master. The 116619LB is a very difficult act to follow and for my money the 12 falls short. But that's just what I think. Your money, your choice.

Coming from a 126719BLRO Meteorite owner:

For me none of the above but if really had to choose between…

The sub has the best value to it. Plus… You won’t be able to read the time properly on the meteorite GMT.

I have both. The sub is very nice but there really is not comparison here. Since acquiring the GMT I have not worn the sub. The GMT clicks every box for what a precious metal piece should be. The watch is heavy, functional, and that dial will never bore you.

If you buy the sub you will regret not having the GMT. If you buy the GMT you will have no regrets.

Sub all day, but, both are great watches. I just don't care for meteorite dials. The story with them is "stellar" ;) -but I don't care for the look. Hard to read also. I have the blue sub and love it.

Meteorite dials are wonderful. $20k is real money. Good luck with your decision.

Between those two, I'd take the Sub.
That said, I choose the 116719 WG GMT over both.

Tough one, but between these two it would be the GMT....if it was the 116619LB I would take that over the GMT.

The dilemma is that there are benefits to each choice.

The sub is a lot less money than the GMT. In addition, people are used to me wearing my Batman so most wouldn’t even know I’ve got the sub on and could fly under the radar at work and with clients.

I prefer the GMT, all things being equal, but it’s a lot more money and would have to hear all about my choice from people who don’t understand. while I don’t let other peoples opinions affect my choices it still makes me uncomfortable.

I’d go with the Sub, but it’s your choice, not mine.

Meteorite 100%!! That watch is a stunner!

Sub, although I'd go with the 116619LB instead of the 126619LB.

I find the meteorite dial very difficult to read and clashy with the red/blue bezel. Just too much going on.

It would be cool if that WG Submariner were available with a meteorite dial. That would be my ultimate grail watch.
