Got “the” call!
So last week I got a call… a call I’ve been hoping to receive for a long time.
While getting measured up for a kilt outfit with my dad for my upcoming wedding, my mobile rang, it was my SA asking if I was free. I said I was out shopping for wedding attire and he asked would I like something white to go along with it, straight away I knew what was coming! This is a special incoming for me, the first time I tried on a Royal Oak was while on holiday in Singapore in early 2018 and since then I’ve wanted one. The watch itself is worth the wait, the bracelet and dial are absolutely mesmerising in the right light. The size and proportions feel perfect as well, and of course the finishing is another level. I see what people mean when they say that wearing a steel Royal Oak is similar to wearing a PM Rolex. As so many of you have stated, the silver dial is completely underrated and is stunning, now I’ve experienced it first hand I’d have to agree. Plus, I already have the black dial 43mm ROO so the silver/ white gives great variation between the two. Special thanks to my awesome SA at AP House London, this is my 2nd AP and I’m sure it won’t be the last. |
