I have owned both (I own one now) … the 11 Series and the 12 Series …

I prefer the proportions of the 12 series …
side by side I prefer the 12 Series …

but, on the wrist, I do not see a lot of difference.

But whichever one you would like to wear best. If that is the 2018, and you remove the stickers yourself, it will make you feel that much closer to the watch.

If that is the new one, then the stickers are not a problem, and I’m sure obtaining one will not be too much of an issue. You have a good relationship, two tone shouldn’t be that hard, and things are getting slightly better in most places.
