Congrats Sam!! How do you find the dial legibility with the chrono? In some lighting it looks like it might be a bit hard to read, but then in other shots it seems to have more than enough contrast , so just curious what your thoughts are with the watch in hand.
Stunning pick up!

Would absolutely love to see these pics, and more, on the black strap if you've given that one a try! |

Congratulations Sam. Your watch looks awesome.
Personally, I really hope AP release more steel and ceramic Codes down the line. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

They actually didn't include an extra strap for me on this, was just the OEM Taupe one that you see. I had a thought initially to request to swap it out for the black strap, but after seeing this in person and trying it on, i loved how comfortable it was, and how it hugs the wrist. It is a featherweight on the wrist!

Thank you! The Steel and Ceramic combo to me feels like the perfect one to double down a collection on, as the contrast, weight, and finishing really accentuates the case profile. I think we're going to see more 38mm options this year, personally.

The date window kills the whole design unfortunately.

It's funny how people have issues with date windows. I wouldn't want to miss mine. That said, it is less visible on my blue Chrono than on the green model with the smoked dial.

I would prefer the date window to be at the center like the Datograph, or have it removed, but I don’t think it’s ugly at 430 either. It’s useful

Really beautiful piece!!! Wear it in good health.
I've been on the waitlist for this for sometime now - but the 3 hander. Hoping to get one soon before I succumb and buy it from the gray market :) |

Don't go grey for this. You wouldn't save a lot, and miss a great opportunity to build a relationship with AP.

ya, you're probably right. Just difficult to really want a watch and know that I can get it right now at a Lower cost, but still choose to wait to get it from AP in the hopes that maybe one day they might potentially get me one of my grails :)

Insanely beautiful piece. All it needs is 50 to 100 water resistance and I would wear it daily and never take it off.

If it wasn’t the same color family as the taupe 43 ROO I would’ve asked for one of these
