Needed thoughts about wearing Day Date

And thanks to everyone for the wishes.

It is a beautiful pc to my eyes. Black dial. Yellow gold. Stick markers.

Even thought my heart was set on a day date yg, used to have 2nd thought at time if it would be too blingy (esp against my brown skin tone).

After wearing - does not feel blingy at all.

Yep. It takes thousands of psi to yield the metal. Unless you store it on a pneumatic jack it won't stretch.

Bought one of 2/14 - when i tried it on at the AD it felt very snug so asked him to add a link. After adding the link it felt a bit floppy so went ahead without the link.

It the morning it wears fine and i can insert a finger under the bracelet but around evening time it feels really snug and is stuck against my wrist.

I am afraid there is no good solution for this type of bracelet. Your wrist changes size during the day and due to temperature.

You will have to wear floppy and then it will get better when your wrist expands. If you go to a hot country or do sweaty activity then you need to have the maximum capacity.

The oyster is better, as it has a half link bracelet extension in the buckle which can be clipped on an off during the day. The professional bracelets are even better as they have a multi-adjust clasp.

Unfortunately many great watches are handicapped by this approach, including the Breitling navitimer and chronomat, the omega globe master, even the rail master. Hopefully this will change over time

I sort of relate to this as well in the sense that it’s alot of money to have tied up in one piece. It better be perfect
