Congratulations. I prefer the fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. Probably silver/white/black dial.

Beautiful choices! And yes I think the fluted looks good with the oyster and smooth with the jubilee.

Have a good day!
I can see why it’s NOT available in that configuration. It would look too monochromatic. I think Rolex realized this. Your wife’s combo is gorgeous, because of the RG. Every time I see the Wimbledon in all SS, I have the same reaction. Even it needs the gold accents, whether RG or YG, to show off its complex slate dial. I’d be curious to know whether the plain SS Wimbledon is more popular than the TT. It may be, based on price alone. In short, any slate DJ needs the gold accents. It makes that watch! This is just my own theory and observation, of course.

Yeah man, I find myself wearing the DJ on weekends with a plain black T & jeans. It really goes well with anything.

What DJ combo did you pick?

OP asked, What DJ combo did you pick?

I didn't exactly get to pick mine. I had requested a different configuration a few months earlier (36mm SS, Blue Dial, Jubilee Bracelet, Smooth Bezel). On a random check-in/visit/chat with my SA, I mentioned that my two years clean and sober "anniversary" was rapidly coming up. To help me celebrate, she immediately chose this one for me and offered it. I thank my Higher Power for giving me the wisdom to pick it up right away!

I think she did me right , especially for the one watch daily wear person that I currently am (41mm SS, Mint Green Dial, Oyster Bracelet, Fluted Bezel).

I do love the Jubilee Bracelet. I aspire, daily, to be able to acquire another watch with one in about 3-4 years...

Have a great day, friends

I think its taste

The oyster is more sporty, and with a fluted bezel, particularly with a TT or a Wimbledon dial, the jubilee bracelet seems too fussy for me. But its personal taste

I agree with the Colonel. It’s a stunning combo, especially on the Wimbledon.

Congrats on your sobriety.

That mint green is my favorite DJ color - I saw one when I was picking up my Explorer. My ideal DJ combo would be 36mm, mint green, fluted, jubilee.

Congrats! I went with the white dial, Oyster combo. I have a 1981 TT 36 DJ Jubilee with black dial and gold hands, bought new as a matching set with my wife's DJ. The new watch is my attempt at a "contrasting" DJ version compared to my original watch.

Highly accurate movement, very comfortable on the wrist. You'll be very happy with it.
