16610LV M for colour comparison.
Should be the same as the LV in post 17.

I don’t care what’s closer to Rolex’s box or tags blah blah.
The M2 is much nicer. The 1 is colder and looks a little plastic. I’m getting the one I want to wear, not the one that matches a colour chart. |

Congrats OP, I totally agree with you when it comes to MK2. Before having had both on wrist I never thought the difference was big enough to care about. After having wrist time with both for months, I can personally say the MK2 is the perfect green to pair with the black dial.
Rolex used the exact same colour as the Hulk bezel for the MK1, while that may have work for the Hulk it wasn't quite right for a black dial watch. Rolex tweaked the green just right in the MK2, it's like they know what their doing or something....lol Here's a couple pics, first you can see the Hulk and MK1 side by side as note the bezel colour is identical. Next 2 pics are the MK besiee the MK2 Sent from my SM-S916W using Tapatalk |

Just picked one up this week, myself!
For whatever reason, it was never on my radar until very recently. Glad I came around, as it adds something to my collection, that I feel was missing. Great pickup and enjoy in good health! |

To me the Mk1color is more neutral and better compatible with both casual and business occasions. The Mk2 looks more youthful and sporty having a more vivid color.
I have the Mk1 and I was considering first to sell it and get the Mk2. Glad I didn't, because I think that I will like the more Rolex like green of the Mk1 better on the long run. |

If mk2 was released first time round and mk1 released later. People would say how the second release is better as it’s more alike the hulk.
Opinions will always be divided |

Sure is a matter of opinion. In another post, I was fortunate to walk into my AD and land one. You have no choice of course, the new ones are all MK2. I have not seen the MK1 in person. I will tell you that the green on the MK2 is deeper and darker (in photos) and I agree when looking at mine. Rolex did a real good job on this green. Going to be interesting if a new bezel color is announced at W & W this coming week in Geneva. I would love to see a SS Sub with a Smurf blue ceramic bezel.

I think both colors are nice, just personal preference.
