Thank you all for the well wishes. I wore it tonight when I took the wife to dinner. Put a smile on my face when I looked at it.
The AD did a beautiful job in prepping and presenting it to me. He wanted to take a link out and move the easy link in a bit, I decided to leave all the links in and have the clasp at the last spot. If I decide to take a link out, I can go back, he knows what he is doing. I have the screwdriver also. I like the dangly feel rather than tight. Being an enthusiast, my mind told me to leave it, did not want to scratch the screws or links and when you put a screw back in, you never get that clean, flush look on the other side of the screw head. Most people would never think of this, this is the trouble being an enthusiast. Also, he told me they keep all white tags, I have all the other stuff that came with the watch. |

That is one of the best stories I’ve heard in a long time. There are some great ADs out there for cool people who simply know how to interact with others and handle themselves in this world. You got an amazing watch for a lifetime of memories. Big, big congratulations to you and enjoy it for many years to come

That's a keeper. Possibly the nicest Sub in my opinion - may you have many happy years ahead with it.

First off, congratulations! Stunning watch.
That me be the only Rolex that I would buy at this point. Have an SD43 and Explorer II Polar. Have my name on list for a few, but dealer lost their badge until the remodel. Sure, I would buy the Daytona or Batman, but unlikely to get the call. I love the Sky Dweller Blue and would buy in a second, but don’t expect to be offered. That leaves the LV as the last on my list. I love the watch, I love the green and most importantly the glide lock clasp is a must have. I really wish this was offer on the other 3 models above. I am losing weight right now and I have to remove a link on my Exp II, but my SD43 I just slide the clasp and I am good. It I lose more eventually I will have to remove a link. Again, congratulations, great piece! Enjoy. |
