126519-Black dial is very legible. I had the "Ghost" and will admit difficult to read at times

I know this is a Rolex forum and I'm a Rolex fanboy like most of us here, but that Patek is 10 times the watch that Daytona will ever be.

A world timer without a date is kind of silly. Would wear the Daytona over that Patek every day of the week.

Can you please elaborate on your POW? I am considering PP in future because of the history and high horology, but just don't see anything special about them in particular. Unless we are talking about pieces for 500k plus.

Personally, a Patek sits far higher on the horolgical scale than Rolex.

I've never owned a Patek and had plenty of Rolex, so would much prefer a world timer in precious metal, over a rubber band gold chronograph I see every time that I open Instagram.

I am kind of in the same boat as you in terms of thought process and perception, but after visiting a PP boutique with extensive collection on display I am not sure anymore. In person perception of PP is not as striking.
Rubber band on aquanaut is like Casio quality. OF is miles ahead with titanium inserts and design in general.

With what you have, I'd add the Daytona in white gold, but get the 126509 version as the bracelet feels so nice in precious metal on a sport Rolex. Just my opinion.

They are so different, but I’d choose the 5230p, especially since you already have other Rolex in the collection.

You can pickup an Unworn 5230p (discontinued now, as you know) at a pretty hefty discount to its last known MSRP. And keep in mind, this watch had a very short run by Patek standards.

Later on, if you’re still longing for the Daytona, add it then.

Beautiful, far nicer than any Daytona on OF.
