You should get the one you like the most. If you don't like the Oyster bracelet you've pretty much answered your own question.

The DJ41 jubilee with smooth bezel is a sporty yet dressy option. The sunray mint dial is nice if you like green. The Sub and oyster braclet are pretty much synonymous. Good luck in your decision.

I have and love the Sub, but roils probably go DJ based off what you are looking for out of it. It’s classy and dressier, but still a great sporty all rounder.

To the OP -
I do not know your budget - but if possible, I would talk to the AD and get both. I would start with the DJ41 Green first and then buy a new Submariner (No date of course)…….

‘Course the no date would be great for the green element of his wishes.
Always helps to read before offering an opinion.

Get the LV Sub. There is no other sensible choice if it’s one or the other.

I would go for the DJ, but in 36. It’s the classic size + fluted/jubilee/mint has a lot of presence without needing the larger size.

Both are excellent watches, but the Starbucks has a bit more of a wow factor

+1 for mint green. Starbucks looks odd to me. I have a normal Sub Date instead.

May have missed in the comments - but has availability been mentioned? Not familiar enough with the DJ 41 - but from my experience and what I’ve read on the forum the Sub SBUX can be very hard to get.

That combined with the GMT and the Sub have similar looks - I think I would go DJ.

Really interesting how the rest of the collection changes things.

I greatly prefer Sub over DJ.

But as has been pointed out, the Sub's more similar to the GMT than the DJ, so the DJ might give more variation to the collection.

So in that case, I'd get neither and set my sites on something I like as much as a Sub but that would vary the collection as much as a DJ.

Ans: Daytona!

Cheapest steel Daytona on chrono24 is currently $17,000.

(Oh! I completely forgot: you want green. Ooops.)

What do you find yourself wearing it with that makes it so versatile? Almost seems like a very specific ocassion/outfit type watch. Curious on your thoughts because I do like it for sure.

On the smooth bezel I do find the watch as not being too dressy at all. You can wear it in the office and whilst I am in my joggers . I also have a sub I do find it bit heavy after a long day dealing with work and screaming kids.

I have both and they’re different so depends what you’re looking for. As mentioned, the Sub is similarly sporty to your GMT, however your GMT is TT, jubilee with PCLs. The Sub is therefore very different IMO. I love how robust it is and is the most suitable daily wearer.

The DJ is a great watch, dressier and would be different to your GMT. However the LV is damn close to the perfect all rounder watch I think.
