Hi Martin,
Thanks, but only have one WG Daytona in my collection.
I originally loved the look of the first one, (silver racing dial) and whilst researching saw the blue dial and decided I would get that one (which was also my wife's favourite!)...carried on looking online and I was fortunate enough to find a Jeweller that had both of these plus another in stock so arranged to go and view...as soon as I tried on the 3rd one (meteorite dial), for me there was just no contest and I left with that one on!

Also echoing the comments made earlier that inside the shop/jewellers the lighting just does not help these at all...once they are outside, WOW
Can't go wrong with any of these in my opinion.

The only way I would buy a full gold watch is through an authorized dealer. Through the Gray market I have discovered that the two-tone watches have less markup over retail than the steel watches do so I started to purchase some two tones, in fact I'm wearing one right now it's the 2023 Gray and black bezel GMT Master 2 on Jubilee yellow gold and steel. after seeing this watch with the gray and black bezel on a steel bracelet I much prefer it on two tone with the Jubilee bracelet it just looks awesome. To each his own enjoy whatever you purchase.

That blue dial really is spectacular….. maybe. I was wrong about the $40k. Man it’s gorgeous.

I have wanted this configuration forever and have never been able to find one in great condition with new style clasp.

That blue dial has been in the back of my mind for a couple years. Gorgeous! I've only briefly seen it in person once, but I think I remember it looking it better than in these photos even.

Did someone ask about the WG Daytona? I’ve had mine since February 2015. Nearly a daily wearer.

This was the exact reference and dial that made me fall in love with the WG Daytona. I can't remember exactly what year, but I'm thinking maybe 2014 ish. I remember being offered one for approx 25k/26k GBP (retail/AD) and passed. Then regretted it and got the blue dial after its release in 2017.

Fantastic watch.

This is the one I have been considering... Is a very cool watch - dress up or down.
