I prefer the WG in the DD40. Subdued but elegant.

Totally agree. I may be a moron but I don’t think the 40 looks too big on mine although that’s surprising because I am a smaller built guy.

I also do not like the proportions on the 40 and I think it looks big on you. I would prefer sticks or Romans on the 36, so I, if in your situation, would be saving my money and not buy either. If you like the diamonds, go with the 36mm.

They both look good on you...you're lucky to have the wrist size to pull off either.

I would lean toward the WG...but not exactly a fan of that dial. IMO, the DD40 ideal config is deconstructed Romans/fluted bezel. Just magic.

Both look like they fit you just fine. Your choice whether you like a larger or smaller watch, but you are fine with either.

I personally like the more modern DD40 size and the larger size helps it to wear better as a sports watch in addition to dress situations, whereas the 36 to me would be more restricted to dress occasions. Again, to me I like the versatility of the DD40 in WG and would not want the flashiness of YG. But that's a decision for you to make.
