How about a 41 silver dial OP? That would be an awesome trio.

Why do most people think he should add a third watch that costs twice the amount of his first two? I have no idea of the OP’s financial situation, but I know mine, and not all of us here can afford an OF Daytona, or a DD. Just curious….

The white stick DJ although very clean just felt too simple but my taste might change on it and I could come back. I guess I like colors

a couple watch experts online say the daytona movement can run the seconds hand continuously with no problems.

That’s a good perspective. Affordability is certainly a consideration. Even if I have money to buy that gold Daytona I wouldn’t because I don’t know where I would wear it. And as I mentioned in my earlier post, Daytona doesn’t do it for me as it doesn’t have a ticking seconds hand. Also I haven’t come to terms with spending anything more than $15k on a watch. So may suggestions here are not for me. But I love to hear what enthusiasts have to say. Maybe when someone says $40k I don’t feel so bad to spend $15k (self justification )

More wear on the chrono movement I guess as it is technically a chrono hand and not seconds hand and so moving it means lots of components moving inside for no reason

What is your life style like?
I ask because you have a Sub and a GMT and I think every collection should have a more “dress” option, for a lack of a better word.
In my case, I use my DD, or DJ or Santos for those times.
But, some folks don’t find themselves needing that much and so then another sports model would serve you fine.
