Get rid of two GMTs, or a GMT and the sub.

5 ideas for you, depends on what’s important to you:

1) I need a date and use GMT a lot on my watches. If you’re like me, trim the Speedy and Explorer.
2) If you don’t use GMT that often, cut the redundancy by selling the CHNR and Batman
3) If you want variety with color, metal, style, and bracelet: cut the Green Sub and Batman.
4) If you want all large sport watches, cut the datejust and Explorer.
5) If you want to be known as a Rolex purist, cut the Speedy and CHNR.

Agree.

Pepsi makes Batgirl redundant, and Explorer the weakest/plainest out of the others.

What’s left is an amazing collection with lots of variety.

I understood the assignment. Here’s the reasoning

Pepsi. Everyone has a pepsi, and three GMT-Master II is too many. The Rootbeer is just a stunning two tone and beautiful to behold in person. The Pepsi, is nothing special, at all. Like boring! The Batman (Batgirl), that’s a clean looking classy watch, not a Pepsi advertisement.

The explorer is a nice watch, but the others are nicer! You don’t need a DD, you have a DJ, and a nice one at that. The omega, that’s a beautiful watch, and your only white face in the collection.

The Sub is a classic, and every Rolex collection has to have a Submariner in it.

You have a great collection!

If it were me, and were I looking to consolidate, the very obvious choice would be to eliminate the Omega (that's an instant decision for me and a no-brainer), and then 1 or 2 of your 3 GMTs. Just too many GMT in the mix there.

Personally I think you could trade the CHNR, Omega, and BLNR and add a white-dialed Daytona (any model that suits your fancy, just something with white dial) and then you'd have a really solid 5 piece collection with your remaining BLRO, LV, DJ, and Explorer.

I would keep the Snoopy/Pepsi/Explorer....get rid of the rest including the DJ (I would switch it to a 36mm DJ)

You only need 1 GMT

Ditch the rootbeer and the batman if it was my collection

Tough choices honestly. I think a common thread is the CHNR and I would tend to agree. Both of your other two GMT's are timeless and are so versatile. I'd personally keep the Explorer as it is amazing watch that does so many things well. Although I respect Omega and have a Speedy myself, it doesn't do as much for me as any of your other watches but at the moment it is your only chrono.

In this hypothetical, I’d axe the omega and BLNR.

I didn’t think you would

I”m not sure you can look past GMT’s & Subs, so an alternative suggestion would be Datejust, Explorer, & Snoopy out, & to get that blue dial fix add a Bluesy.

I would take out 3 pieces and keep 4.
Out:
Omega and the two steel jubilee GMT’s.
The Rolex GMT combination jubilee bracelet + busy lunette is to much for me.

You want to keep the BLRO - fine, there’s your GMT.

I’m guessing you like green so keep the LV - that gives you a dive watch.

I’d keep the explorer as a simple, versatile, less flashy daily.

The omega gives brand diversity and a chronograph.

That leaves you free to add a blue dial VC overseas for the blue you want and brand diversity along with a classy evening watch that’s sporty.

So out goes CHNR, BLNR and the datejust which should pay for it and give you some money back.
