A great watch for the design and color, very unique.
Hence you love the left side crown then it's a perfect piece for you. |

I find all modern Rolex watches with the triplock to be uncomfortable. But… I still wear them. Ha

Every time I buy Sprite, I end up second guessing myself. May be should have gone for 7 up or Mountain Dew.

As a right-wristed lefty I'd love to have one; on my AD wish list.

Not sure I agree on this, I wear mine on the left and the crown doesn’t dig into my wrist/hand as I move my hand towards the crown, therefore making it very comfortable ..

Great color scheme but awful position for the date on the dial; think would had been way better if done as in Pelagos LHD

It's made me think of getting a Pelagos LHD, but a Sub would be great, though not likely. |

Any regrets going sprite?
None! In fact, I wish more of my watches had a left side crown. I wear it on my GASP left wrist and I’ve found it is a little more comfortable than my traditional crown watches.

Random thought: Wouldn’t it be possible to rotate the dial and crystal such that the watch is oriented normally? And then add a normal date wheel?

Any right-handed Sprite owners get too frustrated with the winding and setting the time experience being flipped? Tough to do with you left hand? Enough to want to sell?

It's a great reference, If you're lefthanded then it a good watch for you, hence you're not buying for investment reasons, I don't like the crown on the left side. If it wasn't for that, it would be a watch I'd love to add to my collection. I like the bezel colors and think it would complement my other watches but with the crown on the left side, then not for me.

You don’t like the crown on the left because it was uncomfortable to wear or you didn’t like the winding experience with the crown on that side? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I just rotate the watch 180 degrees and then use my right hand to wind and set as I normally would any other piece.

Any regrets going sprite?

I do the same, and tried a Sinn Destro (EZM3) and could not get used to it, on my right wrist. I sold it, in favor of a different Sinn. I do love the look of the Sprite, on people who wear it correctly. It looks silly on the left wrist, IMO. Love the color scheme, as well. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Play nice.
It’s clearly a watch intended to be worn on the right wrist by lefties. Correctly or incorrectly is semantics. If worn on the left wrist, it’s not as intended by Rolex. Would properly work better for you?

Weird will be if you somehow manage to last long here.

What are you basing that on? No where in Rolex literature do they state this is a watch intended to be worn on any particular wrist or worn by left-handed people. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Do they say on their website watches are intended to wear on a wrist? No, because it’s understood. However, understood it doesn’t mean we can’t do what we want with what we buy.

Well you may understand that but I really don’t think Rolex gives a damn, and they are not clearly intending any watch to be worn any way. You are simply making that assumption, which js fine, but you can’t speak to Rolex intentions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Anything to say on “Any regrets going Sprite”?
I’ve said it’s the best and it’s easily wound and set with the right hand. You don’t own the watch and have nothing constructive to add to the thread, only lectures, weird threats and general troll behaviour. |

I guess your contribution is being a Richard. I don’t own the watch because I don’t like the watch. You are a brilliant example of the amazing wonder of hiding behind a keyboard. Don’t respond. Won’t be able to read it.

If you agree it is, do you know where the term “Destro” comes from and what it means? Again, you can wear as you like and I agree with you that Rolex does not care what you do with the watch as far as how you enjoy it. Frankly, neither do I. To each their own with their money.

I like the green, I don’t mind it on either wrist on someone else, but for 10k I would want the traditional configuration for myself.
