Coming from the AD that has gotten a Ti YM twice this year and has offered me that Ti YM twice this year ... I think I'm OK with believing them.

Sounds like the Rolex Drone is about to deliver him a payload of stainless steel Daytonas and Pepsis.

I hope you manage to get one soon. I registered my interest at the AD back in 2018, in 2021 my local greyD had an unworn watch available so I bought that, still not heard anything from the AD...

Chill with the humble brags man, it’s multiple posts. Just a suggestion

Fully agree. This is an important factor, although in my experience, very difficult to chance upon / build a relationship with a senior AD as a walk-in. You almost need a referral from another existing client.

We're all playing in the same sandbox here and my most sincere apologies to you for having struck luck with an AD? - A BLRO is harder to get from my AD than a Titanium YM. Call it a brag, call it a hypothesis or call it a fact. I'm okay with any of the above.

Glad you're following my posts! Big fan of your posts, too.

When I contacted the SA last week and indicated, I should be pretty damn close to the top of the list, I was told ‘the list’ has been converted to a ‘pool of interest’.

Meaning: I am not getting a Pepsi
Let me give you a similar story. I wanted a 5212a and when I originally expressed my interest to a Patek AD I was told I'll be a 10 year wait so I said that's fine.
And every year I jokingly tell the AD hey it's year 3, 4, etc and this year I reminded them it's year 5. LOL
Honestly I don't think I'm getting the watch but I'm fine with it. I won't buy it from grey but I'm ok if I never get it. See if that self hypnosis would work on you. :)
Honestly it sucks when the AD does that but it's probably never been first come first serve situation even in the beginning. You happen to be the 5th or 6th person that expressed interest but I highly doubt that even the ones before you get the watch in that order because they do have to take care their vip customers first.

I gave up on the Pepsi. The AD explained to me they only consider top spending clients. Because they can. Don't know for how long this situation will remain, but to me that ship has sailed. I don't like it enough to go grey.
