There has been an update to the situation!!
Yesterday we went to do the London trail and saw a great variety of old and new. Amazinly, in David Duggan's window he had a lined up display of a black GMT 16710, a no date Sub, an SD an LV and a Sub date.
What an opportuninty to choose the model he liked the appearance of best. After a good look and then a Fanta at McDs and then another good look the models were discounted in this order.
1. LV
2. SD
3. Sub no date
4. GMT
5. Sub date

So time to try them on but I did not want to bother David Duggan so we went back up to Wempe on New Bond St for a trying on session.
A very nice up market shop with 3 other people trying on Rolex models.
and the winner was..........................

The Sub Date!!
I might need to talk to my local AD but will leave it a few days in case. there is another change of mind.
