That's why I said hide your badge #, with a Rolex for instance.

The only reason I showed the # is that it's long gone.

Yes I was Rafiel, made it to Lieutenant USN.

They don't give good conduct medals to Officers... I probably wouldn't have earned one anyway

Mine(not my picture but mine is the same!), just an award (the lowest form of it as well!).
Not a medal of valour which I think are far more important!

Although I spent most of my time in cammies, having served with the Marine Corps as a Navy Medic for 14 years out of my 20 (Yes, I joined the Navy, only to be w/Marines for 14 years).
An experience, I would not trade for the world.

This is what my uniform ribbon bar looked like on 6-30-2009 (my last day of active duty service). 20 years, 6 days, & 4 hours (Yup - I took a half day).

The ribbon I'm most proud of are not the awards & campaigns, but the ribbon in the middle of the 2nd to the top row (Combat Action Ribbon). Having earned it on 3 different occassions (Kuwait, Iraq, & Afghanistan) & getting through all of them, has made me appreciate life so much more. IMHO, It's an education that I could have never learned in college.
