Hi, Michael.

Curious...Do you know my trap shooting buddy, Gabe Bacco?

He owns a big yellow (school : ) bus company in Wilmerding/Wall.

I'm figuring all in the biz know each other, like we loxmyths know each other, because there are so few of each of us.

Good grief, it appears I have never disclosed my information in this thread! I was sure I had at some point.

I'm 45 years old, own a Date and an Explorer II, and I take care of my house and 3 kids. Yep, I'm a housewife, baby! Used to work in public relations for a state agency and also did some freelance writing, and even worked part time for 17 years as a scrub technician for a hospital labor and delivery department.

We're due for an update. Nancy has 3 right now, her Cellini, the gold cocktail watch, and her latest 1937 "Telephone" vintage.

I have several; my latest acquisition 1630 from our good friend Stuart here, my N serial TT Sub currently in the Toronto RSC because the crown screwed up again, the 1950 Tudor, the W W 2 Rolex military pocket watch, and the piece de resistance, my 1908 Wilsorf & Davis pendant watch.

Long time members know the history and have been following the restoration progress of this one. It should be finished in another 6 months or so and will be absolutely THE oldest vintage Rolex anywhere when its done. You can not get any older than 1908 with Rolex, and this one has the correct English hallmark stamps for 1908, the same year that Hans Wilsdorf registered the trademark name Rolex..

Thanks, mi Amiga. It took a long time to find one with the right patina on the dial and hands, and the 24 hour red indices were a bonus.

P.S. I like your last avitar better, it was a hoot! "As usual, I'm drunk and full of pills" Lisa, that was the BEST ever!!!

I'm thinking about bringing her back here, Al. She's my avatar at AJ's place, but I just haven't clicked the right buttons yet to have her at TRF again.

Mate get the Daytona

Currently they are the cheapest they have been for the past 10 years.

Not sure about the US or UK, but in Japan the Daytona prices bottomed about a month ago and are now on the rise again.

Compared to a year ago about $4000 cheaper.
