I'm 65, i got my SSsubDate when i was 64, 007 at the movies was the first time i saw a Rolex. In the late 70's i saw a billboard sawing a Rolex Sub and they sold for $1495. I had 2 chances to get one. Kids going to College and a then later in life (divorced) a girlfriend with a child getting laid off and needed to take a course in school to better herself, i felt blessed and...well you know. Other things in life came and the years passed. I never ever forgot about owning my SSsubDate. Before i knew it i was this age and without my long ago dream watch. I got it and i enjoy my Rolex everyday. There is a story about how i got it, but I've said enough already! So you guys don't wait!! But i don't regret it...i just enjoy and i love reading everyone's story!

I was 32 when I bought my first, a Deep Sea Dweller.
Didnt plan on it as I had been happily wearing Tags since I was 18. I had to send my current at the time off for service which they told me would take 4-6 weeks. I couldnt go without a watch that long so I looked around and bought it without hesitation. No research, lusting, or the sort.
Im now looking for my 2nd and 3rd at 37.

I am know trying to decide what my next might be. Thinking about a DJ36 TT.

This year so 54 years old. I’ve always loved the brand but was never able to justify the purchase to myself. Finally began to realize you only live once and there is nothing wrong with rewarding yourself for hard work. I’ve bought two this year and could not be happier.

Hopefully, I'll be able to get one when I'm 38 (37 now, and about to throw down a deposit in a few months with the hopes that I can get one by next fall lol).
