I think it has to do with limited production of ceramic pieces so they rather utilize it to do a 44mm ROO which can fetch a better retail price instead of a Diver.

So do it on a 42mm ROO chrono I would say. They dropped the price so low they would be comparable.

What my crappy pic doesn't portray is the 'glow' (best way to describe it) that the RG on this watch has. It seems brighter than my RG44, I don't know why. Undoubtedly my favourite watch so far, and very glad I went for it.

I quite look forward to trying it on the blue strap, so it's not so "all whites edition"!

perfect example of the same RG case appearing different sometimes, based on the dial colors and how your eyes perceive contrast. Old dial and new dial RG 44's sometimes look like a different shade too, but they are not.

I suspect if you cover the dials and bezels and take a pic of both cases you can't tell the difference.

The non ceramic crown and pushers make a huge difference. I never thought they would, but they do. In a very good way. The non ceramic bezel got the most attention at first, but to me its the smaller details that are such a nice touch.
