Black dial is very nice and versatile...I'd say a classic evergreen dial. I went for the white for three reasons:
1) I already own few black dial timepieces
2) only a few professional Rolexes are availsble with non black disls, so the Daytona must be different and more exclusive
3) white face makes the watch both sporty and dressy (imho)

Anyway, the blak dial is gorgeous as well!

New here on the forums, I added a SS white face Daytona to my previous TT GMT2 and blue face pre Tiger Tudor Prince Chrono, really pleased with them all.
Have spent ages reading lots of posts on this very helpful forum, thanks for all the info.

Where else better to ask the following question....

What is the bezel like on the Daytona? Is it a scratch magnet?

How does it fair after a year or two wear?

seems fine to me, sure you might pick up some hairline scratches. But by the time it needs to be polished, its time for a service anyway. It will come back from RSC looking brand new.
