Vintage Grand Seiko, King Seiko and Lord Marvel from the 1960s to 70s were all Japan Domestic Market only, so the vast majority are located there, but there are plenty of vintage divers and chronographs in the States. Watchrecon.com or ebay are good places to start. Avoid anything from Korea as most tend to be reconditioned and very overpolished.

I've seen it called that, so yes When I bought it, it came on the old style Seiko rubber dive strap. I ditched it for the a black NATO with black hardware. It's the only way I wear it

Put my SLA019 on the silicone and may not put it back. The clasp on the bracelet is disappointing but this feels great

Thanks, yes...I don't know what the Tokyo equivalent of Madison Avenue was, but these Business-A models would have been a firm foot on the ladder towards Grand Seiko for the ambitious young advertising exec

That’s all it was. Okay okay I gave it some boost in lightroom lol.
What I meant was that The time was right, I took it off my wrist, snapped a shot on the windowsill, then put it back on my wrist.
