With the Tiffany and other OP colors being discontinued, how will this affect prices of the green OP and the other remaining OP colors?

Makes me sad I turned down the bright blue 2 times. Think I will pull the trigger on the next one.

Nothing more than hype for me even at MRSP….but everyone sees things differently I guess and some would be willing to pay this price as it’s investment right 😂😂

I really appreciate the look of them, especially the Tiffany, but I wouldn't wear it.

Both will go higher than the Panda which will continue on the assembly line ad infinitum.

The turquoise 41 is trading at about the same as the white dial 500LN.

You are correct. While the white dial may steadily inch up, the turquoise op 41 is going to surpass it most likely in the upcoming years.

Yeah, for whatever reason, the red and yellow are trading about half the price as the turquoise 41. Well I know the reasons, but I would suspect that they would trade for a bit higher, not only half of what the turquoise is trading for.

Now 35k - OP 41 Turquoise Tiffany

I personally love mine and wouldn’t sell it. It was purchased from my amazing AD 2 months after it was launched, it’s my sons birth year watch and birth month colour!

Secured my OP41 Yellow the day of discontinuation for $21k. I don’t buy watches for investments, but I am going to happily wear this one and watch it climb to the mid-40s.

This model and/or discontinued colors don’t do anything for me (movement, complication, historically, etc). If a collector is seeking exclusivity and an OP in a certain color helps define their style of collecting, or is what they like to see on the wrist, go for it. It’s a lot of money to pay for what this watch is.

Correct me if I’m wrong, the aquanaut isn’t a base model trading for 80-100k with a 20 year life? Base model argument across the board ended a long long time ago.

Yellow and red should've been higher considering they're fully discontinued

Yeah. No. Every celebrity and influencer I've seen, with the photos I have shared, have all been OP 41 turquoise Tiffany , not 36 certainly not 31.

But like I said before, I am surprised that the yellow and red are literally only half the price in the market.

Word on the street is coral red is rarer than Tiffany, and yellow even rarer still. Quality control passed thru less of these colors.

Ha! Ok. That’s why a friend of mine could get the red and yellow but not the turquoise…

OP it’s nothing special no matter what color. Total entry level 3 hander. Anything over 10k is bonkers to me but then again that’s just me.

YMMV.

What do you think about all those plain 6 figure 3 handers?

What do you think about the multi complications from other brands that sell 1/4th their retail number of complication do not drive or dictate the market price my dear.

Most importantly....

Owners can now go to try clothes on and when the assistant asks what your watch is, you can say 'its a discontinued Rolex'.

Box and papers Bro!!
