Had the opportunity to pick up a pre-owned Deepsea a year or two ago but never pulled the trigger purely on the basis of size..........liked the watch and all about it but it just felt a little too big for me. Around the same time, I picked up a 42mm Explorer, which I really like, although the size had to 'grow' on me. My local AD whom I have bought quite a bit from through the years, has just landed another pre-owned one.............decision time again! Until now, I have always gone with initial instinct. Not sure if it is still a case of........if in doubt........leave it out!

Hey, I have a question towards DSSD owners. Can we see the rolex crown on the crystal above the 6 hours mark?

Thanks

I like it too but the last thing it needed was an extra line of text saying "pro hunter". Could've just left that for the case back.
Otherwise it looks incredible in black.

I rather that they took off text actually. I've been thinking of making the ring lock system black myself, received quotes etc, but never pulled the trigger.

I think this actually sounds more appropriate than the Beast.

Need your help guys. Does that look like the right color for the lume? I have seen bluer lume from DSSD. Now my watch is a V serial with the mk2 dial. I would have thought that the bluer lume would have come with the new dial.

Or maybe I'm too paranoid

Dude, you are so good. That baby is perfect. The Deepsea has only ever had blue lume.

One thing to consider is the way the amount of light plays on chromalight. Sometimes it looks greener then let a bit of light in the room and it's blue, turn around for a second and it fades a bit to aqua or turquoise. Then after a minute it's a really light blue.

Let's not get started on what happens when you take pictures and angles and different phones.😜
