This thing was a huge PITA to put on. Anyone else have issues? Ordered 19mm spring bars hoping it works better.

Is this the bracelet and spring bars it came with?

The reason I ask is because I had the same issue with my old Speedmaster but then I found out that the Omega straps use slightly longer spring bars than the bracelets. Once I bought the shorter (correct) bars the bracelet went on no problem at all.

That's just a perfect pairing on that strap. The red pops on the watch AND strap.

What strap is that by the way?

Spring bars weren't supplied with the mesh strap, and TBH, I have no idea if the spring bars were the ones that came with it.

My first problem was the spring bars I had were too thick to fit the strap, then yes, they were too long I'm assuming. It was not an easy task. It actually fit the 114060 better!

Hopefully the new spring bars will help (if I can get it off without breaking it).

Yeah that's the problem alright. I bought my Speedmaster second hand and it had the wrong spring bars on it. Found out the hard way when I put the bracelet on which was damn near impossible.

The bracelet bars are 1mm shorter than the strap bars. This is because when you are trying to put the bracelet on the angle you have to install it in sort of prevents the spring bars from compressing enough to get around the lugs.

I ordered a set from my AD because I didn't know the correct size either. Getting that bracelet off SHOULD be much easier than getting it on
