Tastes change but I couldn’t see me going after a Pearl master or Cellini any time soon. Can add the Serties dials too.

YM1 or 2- horrible watches
New sD anniversary
Most 2 tone models
New airking
Platona
Daytona on strap
OP’s
Rainbow Daytona
Anything with gems- too effeminate
DSSD- JC edition - looks gimmicky and toyish
New sd anniversary in TT - 2 strikes against it
Exp II white dial
DD with bark finish
Gmt meterorite

I wouldn't like to wear:

1- any Cellini, I think there are nicer & cheaper dress watches available
2- the YM2, I think it's gaudy & huge
3- current AK, way too much going on & it seems like a hodgepodge
4- SkyD, same as the YM2, I think it's too busy & too big
5- "regular" OPs, too boring to me
6- DJs without fluted bezels
7- DSSD, too big for me

Wow - a lot of hate for YMII on this post! (I love mine )

....had a yachmaster 2 in stainless and hated it
Also dislike the air king
Not crazy about the 40 mm yachmaster unless it is PM

I am planning to buy a Cellini model. I know that it is not a hot model as compare to the professional series. Therefore, I am expecting a good deal (pay cash or certified fund).

I live in Ontario, Canada. What percentage of discount am I expecting? Does it depend on season as well (say if I buy in Janurary, will I get a better deal)?

What Rolex model you would never ever buy?

  3. And Finally, the air-king, i see not point on this model.

  4. And i will always try to stay away of two tone models (Except a SUB with blue dial)

What about you guys? Please be kind, i know i just a matter of taste, but Rolex owners seems to be passionate about their models.

Waiting for the opinios and the

Thanks!

Never say never, but right now we seem to have a rather similar taste.
No YM II, no Airking, no twotone except Rootbeer or discontinued TT black GMT.
And also no diamonds for me. No problem with Daytona on straps at all.

The submariner for me. There seems to be way too many of them out there. It's the default go to Rolex other than the date just. Not saying its a bad watch just me being weird lol. (Used to have a hulk and a 14060)

Hello Good or anything less than 41mm. At least for now, maybe that will change in the future :-)

Never YM, Explorer, OP, TT Sky Dweller, Daytona on strap, TT DJ. The ones on my list still are the Daytona SS, Hulk, SD43, SD Blue, Air King. Then no more Rolex for me unless something really nice after each Bazel. Current DD36 YG, DJ41 Blue Diamond dial, Root Beer, and several other brands.

YM II and Milgauss. Just do not like the design of both.

And since your question was, which model would you never buy? Well probably any pm model, not because I don't like them, but because they are simply out of my price reach lol.

Air King
Smurf
Bluesy
Skydweller
Hulk
White Dial Daytona
Any Yachtmaster except the PM’s on Oysterflex.

This is easy for me since I would only buy a submariner, GMT or Daytona. :)

Probably an Explorer I.

Not because there's anything wrong with it, but the Oyster Perpetual is really similar to it.
