The Datograph movements are art masterpieces IMO.

I have a few questions for ALS experts;

-How many years did Lange produce the Datograph 39mm in PT?

-How many pieces were made each year?

-Since when did they start making the 41mm platinum up/down?

-Do you think there is a risk that they might start to be harder to find in the near future thus have a price raise for mint pieces?

And last one do you prefer the Datograph in 39mm or the 41mm up/down? Of course the platinum ones

Thanks guys

That's a watch you could easily keep a lifetime and it would never get old

Thanks Paul. I agree. The dato doesn't get boring that's for sure.

Dato is great but has a lot of "presence" for work (and can be tough to fit under a cuff). 1815 chrono has the same beautiful Dato movement but a lower profile.

Ken have pity on us and stop posting such incredible pics of your Datograph, the more you post them the more I want one :bang head:

The Zeitwerk and other Lange pieces are nice but for me the most beautiful is the Dato 39, and of course my "grail" watch is the WG Datograph perpetual, does anyone on TRF own a perpetual, PT or other metal?
