Is there some scientific reason why the bezel and dial look to be different colours at different angles and under different lighting conditions???

Is the answer just that this is an optical illusion or is there something more to it like a special material that is light sensitive or reflective???

The bezel looks mostly the same all the time, and the dial is sunburst. Different materials will reflect different colour spectrum.

Looks like you are off to a good start on your house but you have got a way to go!!! :cheer:
I don't know if you are doing an early morning inspection or a late in the day inspection (6:05am/pm) either way interesting how the green bezel can take on a pale almost silver annodised green.
With the nature of the dial and bezel there is so many shades of green on this watch it is incredible.
