Haha, a crystal ball would have been nice back then! I wonder if today's pieces will appreciate exponentially like these vintage pieces have? Doubtful...
Beautiful GMT, by the way

Love those open 6s! I don't have a leather strap yet, so a leather background will have to do Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The GMT looks like a completely different watch without the cyclops. I dig it

No contest between warm inviting vintage and cold sterile modern. Love my LV, but the Rail Dial SD can't be beat, IMO

So this is a resurrection of an old thread; I noticed that it coincidentally has been exactly a year and a day since my last post here so I thought I would bring back this thread and see if anybody had any new pics to contribute. It has been fun looking through all the old pictures of beautiful time pieces! You all have some amazing pieces and collections...

Just awesome! The one thing I remembered about a Rolex was that thick plexi when I was a kid. The one of the reasons why I chose the 116600. Nice, guys!

Beautiful! Almost looks like new-old stock. Do you wear it often?

Nice nipples Seriously great watch though. Something about that watch just epitomizes my view of what 70s fashion must have been like. That said, I am no expert, as I wasn't born until 1982!
