I currently have a few ground rules.

1. No diamonds except Baguette markers permitted
2. No rose gold

Of all the watches that meet these restrictions, I would never buy the current Air King, a Pearl Master,
A Yacht-Master II, a Yacht-Master with a yellow gold bezel or a Hulk. There are certain dials I wouldn’t own on DJs, DDs OPs and Skydwellers but I’d own those models with other dials.

Of course this could all change in 6 months.

YMII and Air King for sure. In general, anything that is larger than 40.

I would never buy a Daytona. So many better chronographs out there for that MSRP or lower.

I hate to say never. My tastes constantly change. I thought I’d never own a two tone. Now the one I own is one of my favorites. Then I said never an air king. And now one ended up in my collection and it’s great. So... never will I ever entirely rule out a watch!

Daytona. It's a nice watch but does nothing to me. Yachtmaster is another one that just doesen't speak to me.

I can't never say never neither.
Because I used to say never about the yachtmaster and lately it's starting to look pretty good to me.

From the responses I've read - it is mostly the numbers - 3, 6, 9

Skydweller and YM2. Both are pre-return-to-classic-size monsters. Also, no 41mm, especially DJs, which were never made to look that large. Basically, any models over 40mm, DJs over 38 (if they were made in that size) and OPs over 39mm
