If Bruno is correct and it's China only then there's no chance of ever seeing it IRL.

I'm at AP on Tuesday, I'll ask about it, but I've no reason to doubt Bruno or what he's been told.

It was probably just AP publishing it on their site by mistake. Yet they haven't learned yet that that those mistakes get caught by TRF and then they can't take them back.

We are indeed the gatekeepers of the AP online community

P.s. I heard that the new QP is indeed an exclusive and won’t make it to most places. However, there have been cases in the past in which a few units of an exclusive region release were shipped to a different country and sold to very “Special” clients. I don’t know if that is true or not, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it is. Also, AP gradually releases these watches into the market, so if let’s say 88 pieces are made of a specific reference, it could be a while until all 88 units actually make it to clients hands.

It is not China and not Singapore it is in fact Middle East edition but obviously not the usual turquoise colour scheme used for limited editions in that region on a few occasions in the past.

True historically on exceptional occasions. Pretty impossible nowadays.

Now this. Still releasing 50’s in November.

Hope they release a YG ROC 50 before year end.

Does anyone know when they will stop selling 50’s?

Production was supposed to stop in early December. Will be interesting to see how long it takes to distribute them.

I was told that the final stock may trickle into January in 2023, but once they're gone, they're gone. As you say, production will stop in December, and from there it is distribution alone. Might see a few less hot pieces float out still early next year, perhaps, or maybe not. If you get one, just count yourself lucky.

I was at AP yesterday, just for a quick coffee and to be a baptism of fire for a brand new SA - poor girl - first day and she was introduced to me :)

I had heard a while ago that things had become a bit backed up from a distribution perspective so I have a feeling that we may still see some 50th pieces well into the first quarter.

It also appears that there are a lot of recent incomings/expected incomings and so I think there has just been a batch released from HQ that has made its way out to the world. I think there's another one due at the beginning of December too.

Fingers crossed.

I really sense a push to ensure that there are as many Xmas deliveries as possible this year.

We decided it would be best to focus on an openworked piece I had expressed interest in about 3 years ago instead of asking for a "hot" 50th piece.

So while most would be solely focused on getting a 50th anniversary piece or two, I genuinely don't care for the 50th rotor. Given the choice, I actually prefer a rotor in a different color so it contrasts the movement.

My wife took a similar approach with her wishlist for 2022 and it paid dividends. I'm actually kinda jealous, to be honest. They clearly like her a lot more than me.

Not sure if this was raised but for the next marvel collaboration, the theme is "play on light" which made me guess Captain Marvel.
