I just sourced a red hand for my DSSD. Now my watchmaker has to get the correct key to remove the case back...

Whoa, usually don't care for red hands but that looks really good. Never liked it on any models except the YM and 114060, but this looks really good. Throw a red rubber b on it and bam!
Is it a YM hand?
More pics please.

Wasn't there another member (I remember he had tattoo's) who had a submariner or DSSD with a red hand as well?

There is a 16600 with a red hand floating around here somewhere. I think Sam did the mod, he has tattoos. Must be your guy.

I tried one of these on again yesterday. I have the hands and wrist to pull it off no doubt. If I could wear it 12 months out of the year it would hands down be my one and only This watch rocks that much. The problem for me is the winter months. Long sleeve shirts and jackets with cuffs would probably make it be hard to wear

I have the answer for you--Move to somewhere that's warm year round!

Carry a long sleeve shirt & jacket with you into your AD, put your cloths on, and try the DSSD on again. It may work for you!

Under a knit cuff all day long? Outside the cuff? Can you elaborate a little for me please??

I wore mine during the last few months of the harsh winter, with shirt, sweater and jacket ... no problem at all. Just get those shirts that have two buttons on the cuff so you can adjust it a bit.

Don't let that stop you from enjoying this beautiful beast!

Both great ideas No AD less that one hour away from me. The one I was at yesterday is two hours away.

Serg...I don't wear button cuffs that much. In the winter it's knit cuffs with jackets with the same. And it's all day long as I'm outside for work. I have at least one jacket that I won't wear mu SubC with because it's just too uncomfortable. It's just such an awesome watch

Have no problems wearing under a cuff when worn on the left wrist; right wrist a completely different story as a button cuff catches on the underside of the crown guards (at least with me, standard fitted e.g. neck and sleeve length button shirts)....

Just curious but are you referring to button shirts or heavy knit cuffs? Thank you in advance
