Anecdotal evidence (I have the CB and am generally at their various boutiques in the US 25-50 times a year) but, imo I would think you'll likely need 5-10 of their watches already to get one in any sort of timely manner at this point. YMMV.

With the one watch per year policy, that means 5-10 years. Would it be 5-10 high complications or just anything?

I don’t think you can offend Journe kool aid drinkers. I know it doesn’t offend me. Most would prefer others hated them so they might get more allocations lol

I think that steampunk sort of aesthetic particularly evident with the very early journes is a large part of the appeal. It brings a sense of warmth that many of the brands outside of Patek and Vacheron lack.

I want my Resonance too, but no way I can do that many visits. Unless the car is cooler than mine, I find it harder to go just to chit chat with bunch of strangers... never liked cars and coffee type meet. Seeing the staff however just to shoot breeze and how they enjoy my other watches that are not FPJ indeed is very cool though. The staff genuinely respect other independent watch makers. That I enjoy.

Anyway, my incoming MOP CS Platinum that should arrive by the end of month. Really excited about it.

I am not local but still swing by every 10 weeks or so. Call me crazy.

But I do enjoy visiting and chit chat with the staff. Never been to a monthly gathering though since Tuesday is hard to travel.
