interesting combo Steve. kinda like it too.
it has a funy looking to it also. for some reason the green tint does not stand out as much with the white dial.

it is quite a stunner imo.

would love to see both dial GVs together

As I commented earlier, the white dial with the GV is a stunner. IMHO, the other combination (Black GV dial with clear crystal) just doesn't move me (maybe I was too excited to see the result). I agree with directioneng's earlier post . . . The green crystal makes it special.
Thanks for the post Steve!

I have always though that the combinations Rolex didn't do would be the best - Black face with GV, GV face with clear sapphire. I'd love to see those!

So, do you have to buy 2 watches and swap parts, or will Rolex (or a dealer) sell you a GV or different face? Just curious, I love to customize with genuine parts (in theory!)

The GV face with clear crystal is in post #59.
Yes, you will most likely have to buy two watches to do this, as the parts are not readily available from Rolex.

Very nice indeed. I like how it tones down the white a little.

Thanks, sometimes the pictures don't come up at work, but I see it now at home. I think I have a new favorite watch. I'm on the fence about the green crystal, but I do like the numbers on the outer edge. This is the perfect combo, thanks for sharing!

I'm frightened if I take my White GV to Rolex they will keep it, because it is a frankenized watch and strikes at the heart of their ethics.

The white with the GV is the winner in the crystal exchange. Good idea.

That's definitely cool.....Don't know if I'd do it to my Milgauss since I like the blinding white dial, but if I had another I'd give it a go!

Now, that gets me thinkin'! I wonder how my black dial Milgauss would look

with a green crystal. Are they available from Rolex? How did the owner with the white Milgauss obtain the green crystal?
