Most of my friends do not care about a watch as long as it shows the time. Most of the ones who own swiss watches have one or more Breitlings. Heck, I don't even know anyone around me who would own a Rolex. Weird :)

Just yesterday my father in law was making fun of people who wear Rolexs. So, I calmly pulled my sleeve down below my TT YM as he was talking. He had no clue.

My coworkers/friends wear Tissot's, Tag's, Movado's, and various other quartz watches with styling's (Nixon, Fosil, and No name fashionable watches). I don't think I have a friend who wears Rolex, but they have some nice watches none the less.

Watches must be going out of style. A lot of my friends don't wear watches. I feel disabled without a watch telling the time and date. They just look at clocks or ask me the time. Those that do, wear "mall watches." Some of them wear the same Mossimo or Anne Kline watch for years at a time! They have my pity: life it too short to wear a cheap watch! Don't they know there are so many beautiful Rolexes, Omegas, and Pateks out there?!
I have a brother in law who has a Tissot. My father in law has an Omega gold dress watch he bought in Hong Kong in the early 1980s. He only wears it for special occassions. He won't give me a straight answer wheather it's solid gold or not. |

My girlfriend wears a SS/WG ladies DJ (present from me). I have one friend who wears a TT DJ. I have another friend who wears a couple SS sport TAGs and wants to get a Panerai sometime. His wife has some TAGs and an Omega. My VP wears a TT Rado. Other than that just regular cheap watches. I by far have the largest watch collection.

most of my friends think i'm an idiot for spending or wanting to spend money on watches.....they really couldnt care less. i think the just dont get it, but then again i dont have a 500 dvd collection, or every game console invented, or a 2K sub-woofer in my car. Different things make different people happy. anyways to answer your question..most of my friends wear swatches, tags, guess-watches, swiss army, casio, timex, etc

The majority of the people I know actually wear no watch But a few still do, Carl who you all know has a stunning collection, then I have a friend with a Cartier Roadster, Yachtmaster and a couple of Harry Winstons.
I also have some freinds with vintage Omega's and Bulova's. Most everyone else who does where a watch is either Timex or Casio, both Brands I really respect as they are excellent timekeepers and do what is asked of them for years and years with no sign of giving up. In fact I really like Timex, the everymans watch |

The rest of my buddies all wear Fossils, Guess's, and the like |

Most of my immediate friends are not watch guys. I do have a friend that collects TAGs. I'm not sure if he really planned on collecting, or he just can't sell any of them.
