Many people have to save up a long time to have that type of disposible cash. And many people will never have $6k to throw down on a watch.

so yes - I can see a SUB (or even an Omega or TAG for some) being a grail watch.
Totally agree! These are NOT inexpensive items.

The only time I don't is if I'm doing something that could damage the watch, like working on the car or airplane or house and such. But I wear it when I wash dishes in the sink.

When it gets all scratched up (badge of honor) and ready for service, off it will to the RSC for a clean, lube and polish.

I intend to wear it until I assume room temperature.
