The three of you are just being modest. I know you guys have achieved some good things in your lives, even if you choose not to discuss them.

I cannot believe how well you guys succeed in punching way above your weight when it comes to the ladies!!

(just to clarify in case that gets 'lost in translation'....?
"punching above your weight" does NOT mean knocking your ladies around!...
it's simply a reference to how the hell you 'Billy Joels' married such 'Christie

Brinkley's....... )

Very funny Dan.......But trueI shall pass on the compliment to Alison.....

Amazing stuff posted on here mate...and so many of you....

And by the way Dan, me and the family are coming to the UK in July to visit my old man. May be a time to organize some sort of GTG? Will have to be London way.....a lunch somewhere? I might check out the meeting point and suggest it?

Paying for my college education as I went and not having to pay off a loan, on the heels of that, my husband and I will be completely debt free in the next 7 years.

Please don't be impressed, nothing spectacular by any stretch. The one on the top left (green) is a Navy Achievement Medal, for solving a difficult situation, the one next to it is for operations in Burundi, (remember all that was hapeneing there?), and the red one next to it is for flying missions during the (1991) gulf war. The one on the bottom left is for missions during the 1988 Iranian... "issues" with all the tankers in the gulf. The other two are for achieving expert rankings in gunnery. I am sure there are TRFers with far more impressive military awards, but those shiny-Gold Wings I AM proud of...

P.S. The WW II Dog Tag is my father's....

Tie...my upcoming 19th wedding anniversary with my husband (we were together 3 years prior to that), and my two wonderful kids.

My life with my husband was complete even before having children. We met at 19, and are so close and compatible that we're like the cliche' in movies, where we call each other on the phone at the exact same moment and get the other's voice mail message. We have almost literally grown up together, and spent the good times and the tough times together.

Without such a good marriage, we could not have had such wonderful children. Our boys are wonderful brothers to each other; are good, kind, polite, and thoughtful to others (adults or children); and are very well behaved, morally decent, and spiritual. I can say without exaggeration that to know them is to love them.

Although my husband and I are very professionally accomplished, and also financially secure, none of it would matter if our marriage failed and our children were "messed up."

Wow, Paul, they are extremely impressive. It's clear that when you take on a mission, you aim for (and achieve) excellence. I have no doubt you bring that same ethic to your current position. I hope the "powers that be" appreciate you for the gifted person you are.

Graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Finance degree and a 3.6 GPA in December

I know college grads are the "norm" now, but getting that degree handed to you on graduation day is something I can't describe.

Close second would be traveling the world. I studied abroad in college and spent 4 months traveling all over Europe.

Now onto bigger and better things, trying to break into Wall Street in NYC. Making the move June 1st up to the concrete jungle.

I read that as you picked up a drunk in the Trailer Park last weekend.

I was going to ask if she had a sister.

I've given this some thought. Different things crossed my mind including family and professional success.

Family is definitely the happiness and focus of my life, but not sure either getting / staying married or making a baby has been my biggest personal achievement...

I think the #1 personal achievement is that I've transformed into a responsible father.
