and hard to say on a Rolex forum ... but the one you bought is imo the better choice
An El primero has a much riches history than any Daytona !

..that's exactly what Rolex was thinking when they used to use the Zenith movements in the older Daytona's

Yes, it is a beautiful watch. Got the opportunity to try on the Striking 10th today and LOVED it! Just a gorgeous timepiece. Comfortable, well made, accurate and well priced. Yes I will own this watch very very soon.
