Wow, what a game for the rangers! ....they're gelling and taking it to the defending World Series champions.

C'mon game 5, let's go rangers, close this baby out today.

It's essentially done. Rangers have really put on a show and deserve to be in the WS. It might be a Rangers/Giants series which could be very interesting.

True. And I am a diehard Yankees fan but it is hard to have a lot of faith in the Yankees right now. Yes they swept the Twins but what we are seeing now is the team that I was watching in August and September. A team that cannot pitch OR hit. The pitching is suspect but most of all they cannot hit. A bunch of high paid hitters who cannot get the job done. Unfortunately it's reality.

I have been to 22 different stadiums and the new Yankees Stadium ranks up there as one of the best. It is an absolute gem.
It's a bloated, overblown bandbox of a baseball park, and a disgrace to one of the great franchises in sports history. All you have to do is look at the preposterous prices they charge their "fans" for tickets to know that. What did it cost, $1.5 billion to build? ROFL!

Routine popups in other parks turn into homers at the new Yank-me Stadium. Pitiful. I don't care how good the aesthetics are, it's dimensions are a joke, especially in right field. And the way the "fans" have been bailing out of there the last two nights, it looks like they feel the same way.

First of all have you even been to the stadium to actually have some basis for your opinion? I really don't see how it is a disgrace. This is NYC. Everything here is more expensive from building of a stadium to ticket prices. It is what it is. But guess what the place is nearly sold out every single game so the high ticket prices have not kept the fans away. What other stadium sells more tickets???

The dimensions are the EXACT same as the old stadium and there is no proof that more homeruns are being hit out of this park compared to the old park.

I don't think NY fans are any different than any other fans in another city. When a team is taking a beating and there is little chance of a comeback fans leave. This is a pretty common no matter where the game is played. I see it every week when I watch the NFL. A team is losing and guess what people leave.

Oh yes when they were the New York Giants! 5 world series in NYC, ZERO in San Francisco. The best is NY teams (Yankees, Mets, Dodgers, Robins, and Giants) have been in the World Series 67 times. NY teams have won 35 World Series (Yankees have 27 of them) and lost 32. Not a bad representation for one town.
