Sounds like the "Long" will do the job. Can't wait to go to my AD and look at the Cellini line!

I like Cellini a lot, especially new Prince!

I like the idea of them but the designs never seem to do anything for me.

Here are some more Cellini models that do it for me.

Do the case back covers simply get pried off for servicing, or are they attached to the case with small screws? Are Cellini's considered to be at all water resistant?
Thanks, just curious... (BTW, those are gorgeous watches! Thanks for posting those wonderful pics!) |

The case backs are just friction pry-off. I think they are water resistant to 30m.

Apologies for bumping up an old-ish thread, but I'm a new member and I'm searching for a gold Cellini to give my boyfriend as an engagement present. He has incredibly thin wrists, and big, chunky, sport-type watches look terrible on him. Aside from buying new from a dealer (hideously overpriced here in Australia), where could/should I look for one of these?

I think you will need some posts to use the buyers and sellers forum, but I do believe that you can do some research on the best of the sellers and contact them stating your preferences.
I'm not very well-versed in this procedure, but I'm sure you will get some great help here in a little bit. Welcome aboard.

Thanks for your response, Grady. I've since learned that I can't PM anyone just yet, and while I'm loathe to add my not-very-informed commentary to these threads, it seems I have no other option!
If I were to purchase retail, who/where is recommended? I'd imagine that US dealers would offer the best deal. And, what other brands should I consider for a similar style of watch? My boyfriend already has an Omega DeVille, which looks reasonably similar (to my eyes, anyway). |
