Great pic ... great watch.

I couldn't find a blue dialed one for love nor (sensible) money so I opted for a 79090 black.

Nice looking watch, the blue dial looks better than the lighter blue on the Sub C's in my opinion.

Thanks guys

There is a 'magic angle' that when you get the watch/light just right the blue colour of the dial is just like Steelo says like the Adriatic Sea, the blue is just incredible.

I had the angle/light this morning when drinking coffee. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera, but let me tell you I was transfixed for several minutes with the colour.....

I'll try to get a photo and show you what I mean.

I love this watch. Incredible magnificent blue dial and bezel. And you're right, they are much more difficult to find than the black ones in this saphir version because they were less produced.

But you are wrong about the dial. It is a glossy dial indeed, that makes such an exeption of this watch: The previous version with plexi (79090) had a blue matt dial, and its sister, the black sapphire version (79190) has also a black matt dial!!!

This is the only Tudor/Rolex watch I know with a blue glossy dial and painted maxi markers, and this explains the blue dial is so astonishing..... Here is mine, that I shall never let go.

I don't think so, no it is not the same model as in my Avatar, unfortunately that is a great watch but I don't own that watch.

I'll give you a hint I traded in a Heuer Chronograph with a Lemenia 5100 Movement and on top of that I paid a little over $1,000.

Just processing the photos now....
Both you and Dan have the blue.....I'm jelous

Congrats on that very beautiful Tudor, Steve. Since you love the blues so much, here's one that the Omega folks refer to as the "Electric Blue".
