Movado. First Christmas with my wife.

That was 10+ years ago and it was a big suprise and stretch financially at the time. Still have it & will always cherish it.
A short while after that I became hooked on TAG and a short stint with Omega. Then ROLEX................

Cheap watches. I was always set on a Rolex for when I would be able to buy one.
I have an Omega Speedmaster (reduced) Schumacher only because with 2 friends for some reason we got into a buying frenzy and bought 3 of them on the spur of the moment. Well, I shall be putting it up for sale soon, now that I have a second Rolex.

Tag seems to be a popular precursor to Rolex ownership. This was my first significant watch and I still wear it more than any other. I picked it up in Brussels in Dec 2000 and it's been dead reliable. Not sure what model, but the back says CK1112-0

I wore this Accutron pretty much every day for 18 years until 1992 and it is still in the rotation.

I was wearing my little Seiko quartz DJ knockoff, then an SMP for several years before I bought my first Rollie. Still have both.

Mine was (and still is) a nice titanium Citizen chronograph. After wearing it on and off for over 12 years it still looks like new, just a new battery every 3 or 4 years and it's good to go.

Didn't really have a daily watch. Used my Timex Ironman when training for tri's.

Earliest watch was a Bulova Accutron, which I wore every day from 1973 through the late 90's.

The three watches I wore in rotation prior to getting a DSSD a couple of months ago were a Damasko, a Panerai 164 and a Seiko Black Monster.

Two Tone Tag Link Automatic Chronograph. I gave it to my step father as a gift.

I am now over chronographs and I am pretty much over two tone watches though there are some that are ok and would consider.

There are other watches besides Rolex? Who knew..

I owned a Tag for a week till I was told I would have to send it in to have the battery replaced and it would be gone for weeks so I returned it, walked across to the Rolex AD where I bought my first Submariner. Batteries NOT included or needed! That was in 1987 and I wore it daily for 18 years till I bought a new one.

It was a quartz Sector Chronograph. Bought at Tourneau for almost $1000 in the 90's.
Bought that first fancy watch with absolutely no knowledge or research. In hindsight, I totally got robbed. Big "T" got me good. I feel dirty. LOL
