I hope they find new applications for the 4130 in different models.

I'll also be curious to see an actual photo of a YMII. In the promo shots the whole colour scheme seems really "off".

I rather like this new model as I have been a fan of the YMII for a little while and a TT version potentially brings it into my price range. I will wait until I see the YG TT out too so I can compare with the RG TT.

The dial has more going on than a Submariner or GMTII it is true. But it does not have as much to see as the Daytona. I think that comparing this watch to a Breitling with lots of numbers on is not exactly fair.

$15K USD?? Try £17K GBP which would be around $24K Ridiculous price for a bi-metal watch.

I'm also thinking that the lack of posts on this thread means its not very popular. Its also a bit of 'supply and demand' I think the lack of demand for this watch may drive the price up too.

To me it appears cheap and vulgar. (I do wish I could afford one though).

Nice Combination of metals. I'd like to see them expand this in other categories.

Can anybody explain the purpose of the sub-dial at the 6, why is the only sub-dial another seconds hand?

The sub dial at 6 is the second hand. The red hand is the countdown second hand for the regatta count down function, when it's in use, Basically it's a stopwatch

I just picked one up in SS/RG the other day as a belated birthday present to myself. I have to say it looks amazing, to say the least. I think the RG complements the white and blue very well. I've been wanting this and a Daytona to add to my collection, and I chose this one because it's truly unique. I still love my TT blue sub as my everyday watch, but this SS/RG YMII really stands out. Happy birthday to me!
